London-based artist Camille Ruz combines 1960’s singer-songwriter, folk, and indie music to preserve delicate experiences. Her whimsical melodies and lyricism are inspired by the beauty of nature. In the words of critics, Camille is a “breathtaking slice of musicianship and authenticity” and “defies expectations at every turn”. Her debut EP “Requiem” is a self meditation on learning to heal from grief and loss. Recorded on tape, it showcases instruments such as Chord Zither, Dulcimer, pedal steel, mellotron, and flute which combine to form an intimate expression of human experience.
