Influential leaders go by many names; given titles based on occupations, status or achievements. This also applies to the co-founder of 456 Entertainment. If he so chose, he could go by The Battler, The Promoter or The Entrepreneur. But by his own humility, he simply chooses to be known as: Camira the Rapper.
There are many aspects to Camira and ways to describe him, but being an artist is where his true face lies. With a humble vocal tone, his voice has a strange uniqueness that bleeds pain, but curiously lulls you into comfortability at the same time. Often speaking on the internal struggle between ambition versus responsibility and risk versus reward, it is within this fight of two minds, that resides perhaps his most important title: The Dream Chaser.
Having created hip-hop for over ten years has been difficult for Camira, entering the scene before now Australian icons had gained mainstream success and popularised the genre. This factor was amplified by the fact he grew up in a relatively small town with no real means of outlet or opportunity.
He set out to create not only a group or a label, but a brand, a cornerstone for all music in Australia. But he thinks bigger than just a record label, after all the greatest creative minds of our time have never been confined by a single medium, so why should he? All great movements start with a single step, and although he is far from his first, Camira the Rapper is even further from his last.
