Campana

Hailing from Bremerton and raised in Seattle, Campana first made waves as the lead vocalist of the genre-blending band <a href="spotify:artist:7Hn7ZE9n9nrRVovP6KPvwT" data-name="Cosmos">Cosmos</a>. The group rose to prominence after winning Seattle’s prestigious MoPop “Sound Off!” Battle of the Bands in 2016, launching them onto national stages like Capitol Hill Block Party, Bumbershoot, and Sasquatch! Festival. Their debut album <a href="spotify:album:3kGNj7KmTvot2HRwLbGaQC" data-name="MOONSHINE">MOONSHINE</a> earned them a coveted spot as one of just nine bands selected nationwide to perform at MUSICOLOGY—a celebration of emerging talent hosted at <a href="spotify:artist:5a2EaR3hamoenG9rDuVn8j" data-name="Prince">Prince</a>’s iconic Paisley Park Estate in 2017.

As a solo artist, Campana has continued to push creative boundaries. During the pandemic, he wrote and recorded his debut album <a href="spotify:track:4SPNAgz6yx7QbHGkHUOo3E" data-name="Matter of Time">Matter of Time</a>, and executive produced an award-winning short film of the same name in collaboration with swimteam. The album was named one of The Seattle Times’ “Top 16 Albums of 2021,” while the film sold out two Seattle screenings, won the “Audience Award” at Black Film Fest ATL, and garnered festival nominations nationwide.
