Canis X Sirius is a dynamic father-son duo carving their path in the DNB scene.
Sirius first made waves as a drum and bass MC in the early 2000s, performing at major UK events like Raveology, Helter Skelter, and Music Hertz. He also hosted a monthly feature on Distinct FM, showcasing talent from Eternal Musik.
As his career took off, Sirius found himself booked every weekend, which strained his relationship with his son, Brad. Realizing the toll it was taking, he made the difficult decision to step away from music to focus on fatherhood.
A few years later, Brad—now known as
Canis—developed an interest in music production. Sirius supported him, providing a studio setup and guiding him through the fundamentals. By 16, Canis was creating high-energy tracks but struggled with finalizing them. A pivotal moment came when Sirius
sent him a sample from Vikings after watching Lagertha’s death scene. The result was Lagertha, Canis debut release on Chilli Tribe, owned by Venjent.
During a turbulent period of breakups and relocation, Sirius found solace in music again—this time producing alongside his son. Canis X Sirius was born.
signature sound, blending intricate sound design, powerful drum patterns, melodic depth, and seamless track structures.
In 2025, their dedication paid off. After sending out a batch of their best work, they landed a feature on Dirtbox Recordings’ Vibe City compilation, followed by an exclusive three-EP deal with the label.
