cannibal is 23 year old Hayley Canham - a singer-songwriter who mixes catchy pop tunes with a dark lyrical twist, reminiscent of a Tim Burton movie. Her clear, pure voice soars over delicate, guitar ballads and drive toe-tapping, moody beats, with haunting melodies fresh from her iPad.
Coming from Maidenhead with UK/New Zealand roots, Hayley has been performing since childhood, either on TV screens and the West-End stage as an actress or as a singer-songwriter at festivals.
At 15, she was a quarter-finalist in the first series of ITV's The Voice Kids in 2017. In the same year, she released her first EP under her own name. Since then, eight of her singles have been picked up and played on BBC Radio as part of BBC Introducing.
Influences include Fall Out Boy, Charli XCX, Panic! at the Disco, Dua Lipa, Sigrid and everything her parents forced her to listen to growing up, from Skrillex to the B52s.
