Capital Green

Founded in 1998, Capital Green is Michigan State University's oldest all-gender a cappella group. They’ve made their mark year after year, competing in the prestigious International Championship of Collegiate A Cappella (ICCA) and bringing music to their campus and beyond through various regional showcases and performances.

In 2024, Capital Green achieved historic success, winning first place at the ICCA Great Lakes Quarterfinals with the highest quarterfinal score internationally and all four individual awards. Subsequently winning the Semifinals allowed Capital Green to become the first group from Michigan State University to ever perform on the biggest stage in contemporary collegiate a cappella: the ICCA Finals in New York City.

The group just released an EP and music video of this record-breaking set, entitled Beyond, available on YouTube and wherever you listen to music.
