Captain Squeegee

The enigmatic Captain Squeegee has landed, brazenly pushing the boundaries of indie-rock with their eccentric show and style.

Referenced to bands such as RX Bandits and Thank You Scientist, Captain Squeegee has dramatically expanded their sound, resulting in “a heady brand of neo-psychedelic prog... [like] a van full of jazz performance majors raised on ska would play it” (Ed Masley, AZCentral). Their horn-driven instrumentation, metaphysical lyrics, and intense multi-media performances, has hailed them “one of the toughest acts in town to follow” and “prepared to headline Coachella, tomorrow” (Jeff Moses, Modern Times Mag).

Touring persistently since 2006, the band recently joined forces with Epic Proportions Tour, landing them a tour bus, showcases at SXSW, and on-campus performances all over the southwest. With 3 studio albums under their belt, they continue to churn out new music while opening for national acts such as Thank You Scientist, The Dear Hunter, Ozomatli, Squirrel Nut Zippers, Parliament Funkadelic, Foxy Shazaam, Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Widespread Panic, Beck, and performed at an official CMJ showcase in 2015. They recently performed on the main stage at McDowell Mountain Music Festival and on the main ULine Stage and Rebel Stage at Summerfest in 2016. They just released their newest EP 'Harmony Cure' on 8020 Records.
