The Virginia Beach modern rock four-piece Car 44 has been shaping it's pop hooks since it's formation in 1996. Frontwoman Dahna Rowe, guitarist John Conkle, bassist Rob D., and drummer <a href="spotify:artist:43CiK1548VVp2DT95joswS">Billy Crawford</a> mold a melodically raw pop sound similar to the likes of <a href="spotify:artist:5xU5wRTlZHVRoo2OxPvqA4">the Throwing Muses</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:0ZY9xX3ninRS8dDz82nRQS">Bettie Serveert</a>.
