CARCAMO started as a duo by the artist Gabriel Cárcamo and his friend Casper Sandberg in a garage in their hometown Växjö when they were young teenagers. In their shared love for Swedish alternative music they started to write their own songs and eventually filmed themselves performing them and posted them on YouTube. After entering and winning a local radio competition they signed their first industry contract and moved to Stockholm. After starting a collaborate with the producer David Gustafsson, in 2015 they together created and released their debut EP “Mina Färger”. Soon after the project grew from a duo into a band of nine people. CARCAMO has ever since been famous for their special live performances, powerful lyrics and groovy good vibes. In 2022 they got all their music taken down due to a legal dispute with their old management, but after fighting back they eventually won and got the rights to all of their music back. Exactly 10 years after the release of their debut EP, on 20th of April 2025, they released all of their music again celebrating their journey of becoming fully independent and free from the industry.
