Formed by Derek Allen and Chris Darroch in 2019, Cardboard Planets was created to serve as an outlet against the doldrums of modern life in Bethesda, MD. Reflecting on their nature as transplants to the DC area (and Chris' recent move to Eastern Pennsylvania), their upcoming album, En Route, was meant as a reflection on notions of what the idea of "home" really is.
