Cardinal Lake is a 4-piece indie rock outfit from Asheville, NC embodying themes of Kerouac-Americana with a DIY-punk aesthetic centering folk-rock vocal harmonies – all on top of jazz-influenced chordal structures. Progressive, but not for the sake of being progressive. DIY but not lo-fi. Analog warmth with improvisational imperfection. Pop sensibilities amidst chaotic nonsense. Our music is intended to expand minds and open hearts, subverting norms while speaking to the universal human condition.
