Phil Hall
( Cardiobeats )
“Mixing classic 80’s synth pop, 90’s Classic House styles with modern house & dance grooves that have a feel-good atmosphere, with a Solid Baseline.”
That’s how Phil describes himself as a DJ / Producer. “For me, it’s all about mood and a deep bass driven groove… playing and making those tracks that get you tapping your feet and more than that.. feeling good, Nodding your head without you realizing it, regardless of genre, tempo, style, or release date. “
Growing up in Manchester in the early 80’s & 90’s on a council state, I started to love music from an early age my dad was a guitar player and played in a band, I was very proud to be taught basic keyboard skills, where my passion increased to the synth pop genre at the time, The Human League, Duran Duran, Pet Shop Boys, early Electro pop influence's, Kraftwerk and street sounds electro, break dancing and graffiti influenced me a lot, I could never afford a ‘real’ synth in the day, so i had to make do with going into Manchester’s music stores at the time, and playing until I was kicked out!., prior to the 90’s, where it seams like every genre came out!, from Jungle to Trance, Happy Hardcore. I loved every Genre, and watching people dancing enjoying and loosing themselves to the music.
