Carey Ozmun is a queer, non-binary multi-instrumentalist and producer based in Astoria, Queens.
Primarily a trumpet player, Carey studied jazz at Purchase College and began composing and producing beats and other works during their time there. Upon joining indie-rock quintet, Strawberry Blonde, in 2017, Carey’s love for analog synthesis began.
Following their time at Purchase, Carey’s various passions have been further merged, allowing them incorporate these skills into multiple active projects including Strawberry Blonde, and TimaLikesMusic. They have also appeared on tracks by Jerk, Chrrry, LUNATHELOVEGOD and Matt Krane.
