Carey Parder is a Canadian recording artist and composer from Calgary, Alberta.
His latest work is the instrumental album “Evening Light”.
Evening Light is a meditative album featuring finger-style guitar textured with rich layers of ambient background music. It is ideal for activities such as massage, meditation, or general relaxation.
NightBird is his first album of all original songs. Exploring the many journeys of the heart, these songs span decades of rich experience. “Seems relationship is core to how we learn about life, each one offering up it own unique passage into love and self knowledge.”
He also has two instrumental albums recorded with guitarist William (Bill) Wilton under the duo name of WilliamCarey.

As a performer Carey has played guitar many years in a variety of bands, duos and theatre ensembles. His experience composing and producing music spans a diversity of projects including feature length film, TV drama, documentaries, and commercials.
His most recent film work is the sound track for A Few Good Men and Women, a 7 part documentary series following a class through Police academy.
