Carl Fanini

Carl Fanini was born in New York where he spent his childhood and immediately became influenced by black and soul music; he then moved to Italy when he was 11 years old . In 1991 he joined Media Records thanks to his partner and producer DJ Cinols and soon achieved success with their debut single "Ride Like The Wind" which launched East Side Beat on the international market, selling over a million copies and topping the charts in France and in the United Kingdom winning a silver record for sales of over 200,000 copies! The following year he became involved in another successful project, Club House: from 1992 to 1996 Carl became the leader of successful singles like "Take Your Time", "Light My Fire", "Living In The Sunshine", "Nowhere Land" and "All By Myself" yet gaining an overwhelming success, both in Italy and abroad, with appearances on TV and international tours; he even features as a guest in famous tv shows like Festivalbar in Lignano Sabbiadoro and Non è la Rai with Ambra in 1995! After his experience in Media Records he then moved to label DJ Movement in which Carl soon got back on the spotlight thanks to the smashing house anthem "Disco Fever" along with production team Music Mind selling over 15,000 copies only in Italy in 1997. Many other collaborations with various artists have followed such as GABRY Ponte, Mauro Picotto, Alex Gaudino, Nari & Milani, Provenzano, Pagany & Arduini etc.
