Carl Shackleton began his musical journey at The Roland Hayes Performing Arts School in Boston, excelling in composition, piano, bass, guitar, and vocals—earning him three years in the State Choir and a performance at Carnegie Hall. By 15, he had his first studio deal with Maurice Starr, launching a career that would see him work with icons like Dr. Dre, Brandy, Usher, DJ Khaled, Prince, and more.

As founder of House of Hitz in Atlanta, Carl has cultivated talent across genres while building global partnerships in music and film. His portfolio spans R&B, gospel, Afrobeats, and soundtracks, with placements in film and TV including Death of a Dynasty. Through his label, Ubuntu Entertainment, he’s released multiple albums and singles—all composed and produced by him.

Now, with Carl Shackleton Jukebox vol 1, Carl showcases his ability to blend Afrobeats, pop, and cinematic sounds into a global platform for both emerging and established artists. His work embodies a vision of music as a universal language of creativity and collaboration.
