Carlos D. Perales

Composer and pianist. He studied at the Conservatory of Music of Seville and later at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna. His main interest is the extension of acoustic sound through electronic expression and human-computer interaction, and his creative process is closely related to the concept of gesture and the psychology of perception. He has won several awards for his work, and his compositions have been performed at festivals around the world. He is currently a Professor of Musical Technology at the Joaquín Rodrigo Superior Conservatory of Music in Valencia, where he teaches Sonology and Electroacoustic Composition.
