Argentinian-born Carlos Franzetti started attending piano classes at a very young age. He studied composition after moving to Mexico in 1970. After graduating from New York's Juilliard School, Franzetti became a director. During the following years, he worked with <a href="spotify:artist:30Mx3ZadPgGZTcs38FvYP8">Paquito D'Rivera</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:550VNM96M8mO90texkUWDC">Joe Farrell</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:2HvyR5FsU37QMqVzIbGwl7">Mercedes Sosa</a>, and <a href="spotify:artist:6mQfAAqZGBzIfrmlZCeaYT">Chaka Khan</a>, among other talented artists, composing the soundtracks for Beat Street, Misunderstood, and The Mambo Kings, and arranging for <a href="spotify:artist:7CIcEIOiWaZcEH35cpsdZq">the Boston Pops Orchestra</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:33d6KfIiLy2DZKZ3Ol4qXa">Carnegie Hall Jazz Band</a>, and <a href="spotify:artist:189I14HgoKkmB02CoEN2po">the American Symphony Orchestra</a>.
