Carlos Saunier is a contemporary jazz guitarist who had his solo debut in 2017 with the album Imminent, a work of refined concept in composition and sound. With the influences of jazz fusion musicians such as Christian Gálvez and especially Jorge Díaz, he joined this aesthetic line leading a quartet featuring the tenorist Claudio Rubio, the bassist Francisco Barahona and the drummer Felix Lecaros, with whom his music moved between fusion, new age and rock. Also a producer and with knowledge in sound engineering, Saunier is part of the generation of guitarists who debuted with a solo project in the mid-'10s in the Chilean jazz scene
