Son of musicians, Carlos Mauricio Slivskin (in memoriam), an Argentine, discovered early on that he had inherited the same talent from his parents: at the age of eight, he sang at an opera at the Colón theater in Buenos Aires. In Brazil, he taught music at Colégio Renascença and at the school of the club A Hebraica. Specializing in lyrical singing, he was the conductor of several musicals, such as "Um Violinista no Telhado", and operas - performed even in Italy. Because of this, he was known as conductor Carlos. He recorded more than 20 albums and composed dozens of songs, some not yet recorded. He also had a band, which according to his son, Eduardo, played more than 6,000 concerts at events.
