Carmin

Emerging from a small city just outside of Toronto, Carmin; An engineer, songwriter, and performance artist. With music ranging from thought-provoking conscious rap to hard trap vibes all the way to acoustic-based. His all around love and appreciation for creating music, and all music in general, has a very heavy influence on the genre-bending discography we hear today.

His vast inspiration mainly stems from the rap/hip-hop he grew up listening to, from N.W.A and Biggie to artists such as Flatbush Zombies and A Boogie wit da Hoodie. Even prior to falling in love with hip-hop, Carmin was influenced at a very young age due to the music he was introduced to by his parents ranging from U2 to Nickelback, and even the likes of The Beatles and The Tragically Hip.

One of the main reasons Carmin loves music so much is the way it makes people feel, he said “Theres just something so beautiful about the space you are put into when you’re completely engulfed in a musical experience.” His deep love of music blended with the ideas and problems he, and the rest of the world experiences, makes it not only an outlet but a passion. His remorselessness for being himself every second of the day is accentuated through his art. Creating the ultimate conjunction of love, pain and life.
