Carnel Jersey

Carnel Jersey, by his civil name Carnel ASSIKA, is a rising Gabonese-born Afro-beat artist, songwriter, and producer. He comes from Okondja in the south-east of GABON. It was in Libreville that he discovered the HIP-HOP musical culture and formed a group with his friends from PAUL EMANE EYEGHE high school called SKINY GANG FAMILLY in 2014, a group with which he recorded the title “Pants Sous Les Fesses”. In 2016, he separated from his group and began a solo career.

In November of 2021, he is signed to Canadian Independent Record Label “Browne Records”.
Browne Records is exclusively distributed by Virgin Music Africa/Universal Music Africa as of November 2023.
Best known for his distinct sound and music style, he is passionate about making quality music for a wide range of music lovers.


Carnel has released quite a few singles in the year of 2022 & 2023, such as Coconut, Sugar, My Woman & Star Luv and is preparing to release a new EP titled “Another One”. He continues to grow in both fanbase and appeal, while continually bringing a new wave to the mainstream music industry
