Carol was born in 1974, 3rd of the 7 children born to Christine Ssebuyungo and the late Patrick Ssebuyungo of Namasuba, Uganda in Wakiso District, in a family of Musicians & footballers married to Moses Bu’dhwike since 1999 with 3 biological children 22yrs,16yrs & 14yrs. Carol won the prestigious accolade of the Viga Awards Best Album (2015)/Female Gospel Artist of the year 2007/2008. Her five albums have represented great hits that have stirred the air waves of the all radios.
She has built a long, successful career in gospel music through church choir and mission ministry. Ever since she joined the music career as a fresh-faced kid of 12 years old in 1990 under Victors Church Band, she brought contemporary Christian music to the forefront of Ugandan culture. Carol has worked with a number of renown Gospel Musicians. She was also part of the Christian Communications Network (CCN) African Worship Team based in Ireland which recorded eight worship albums with different choir directors from different churches in Uganda. She mobilized the Ugandan gospel artists to produce “Save the future” a song composed to support the fight against H.I.V and AIDS after which was hosted at TBN as a performer and coach with the Pearl of Africa Childrens Choir.
