Carolyn Petroski

Hi, this is Carolyn. I'm a singer/songwriting wife, mother, grandmother and Christ-follower who seems to always have a melody in my head and a song in my heart. I grew up playing piano and singing solos in our small country church in rural South Carolina and have been involved in Christian worship music ever since. I've always dabbled in songwriting; however, it was only a few years ago when I retired that I became serious about honing my skills.
I'm a nurturer at heart, and the careers throughout my life reflected that - teacher, social worker, and non- profit director. One of the most fulfilling jobs I had as a social worker was providing music therapy to my hospice patients. It was incredible to see the impact that music had on their physical and emotional state.
Besides music, I enjoy mountain hiking, beach excursions, playing with my grandchildren, family gatherings, and lunch dates with girl friends.
I am just getting started with this phase of my musical journey, but I have many more songs to share. I hope you will follow along to hear what comes up next.
