Carousel is a Latvian indie pop band from Riga who formed in 2015. Singer Sabine Zuga along with Marcis Vasilevskis on guitar initially performed songs from their favourite artists around Latvia and abroad, however in 2018 they took the leap and started creating their own music. The duo dared to dream in 2019, entering Latvia’s Eurovision selection “Supernova” with their vintage, stripped back, romantic track “That Night” which blends Sabine’s gentle warm vocals with Marcis’ musical artistry. The duo have now become a quartet with the addition of Stanislav Judins on double bass and Mareks Logins on drums, bringing a distinctive vibe and sound, and making Carousel a complete unit of four.
