Hailing from the rust belt city of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Carousel are a hard rock band who combine the jam-heavy hard rock sound of bands like <a href="spotify:artist:7LCp4MN0SOIVWlssid9KyE">Mountain</a> with the dual guitar harmonies of <a href="spotify:artist:6biWAmrHyiMkX49LkycGqQ">Thin Lizzy</a>. Formed in 2010 by singer and guitarist Dave Wheeler and drummer Jake Leger, the pair would go on to recruit guitarist Chris Tritschler and bassist Jim Wilson, solidifying a lineup capable of bringing the necessary levels of swagger to the band's driving sound.
