CARPE DIEM band comes from lovely country in the heart of "the old continent", that has "love" in its name: Slovenia. They play "SKAROOP", as they define their music genere. Their music could be placed in the Ska-Rock-POP triangle. Positive energy, amazing concerts and sunny disposition are traits, that you can not miss.
Why name CARPE DIEM?
At first, when band was formed, guys were in high school. Beside school they were very much interested in many things, so their days were filled with activites and having a band was just one of things, that they simply needed to do. They decided to live every day to its maximums, so hence latin name "seize the day - Carpe Diem" came to be. As name could at times be seen as somewhat trivial, their unique energy and their music are not.
Lyrics are mainly in slovene, but you can find some covers in english, also french and we have it on high authority that there is more songs coming in english, as band fully comes to 3rd crerativity era.
