Carpé is an Independent Artist, Song Writer and Professional Drummer.
From the mere age of 7, Carpé was determined to perfect the art of drumming. He worked diligently to hone and master his skills as other musicians in his close knit family encouraged and motivated him along the way. While on his journey to grow as a drummer, Carpé was exposed to various genres of music gigging around South Florida and as a result, his love and furious passion for music was born.
In his late teens, as a means of self expression, Carpé began pouring his thoughts out on to paper in the form of poetry. As the years passed, poetry turned into song writing and in 2013 Carpé released his first single, “Sweet Life,” as a Independent Artist at the age of 21. Upon the release of “Sweet Life,” Carpé performed at various venues promoting the single and was invited to interview with X 102.3 a popular radio station in West Palm Beach area to further promote “Sweet Life.”
While still curating and developing his own personal style as a artist and musician, Carpé studied a range of artist such as J. Cole, Michael Jackson, Musiq Soulchild, & Drake to name a few.
Carpé has partnered with various South Florida artists leading up to 2018 when he released two more singles; “Make You Mine” and “Problems & Tensions.” Since the release of both singles Carpé has been performing nonstop in the South Florida area, consistently gracing the stage with his lyrics, melodies and a dash of island vibes.
