Carrie's Fantasy is the solo project of Carrie Furniss, a vocalist, songwriter, synth player, and improviser based in Ridgewood, Queens. Cutting her teeth in active bands like Pleaser, Purse, Dressage and dead bands like Birthing Hips (RIP), “Bitter and Sweet” was her first ever solo record. On this record, the worlds of bedroom pop, synthesizers, experimental music, and tongue-in-cheek lyrics collide to make one big fun mess.
