Cartman were a four-piece pop/rock band from Perth, Western Australia. Formed in 1997, they released three EPs and a full length album, 'Go', before going on an indefinite hiatus in 2004.
They toured nationally multiple times, played the Big Day Out (2000, 2003), and their song 'Shock' became the unofficial eviction song for Australia's first season of Big Brother. Their album was Triple J Radio's 'Album of the Week' upon release, and their first single from the album, 'Shock', was voted number 97 in the same station's Hottest 100 music poll of 2003.
Cartman also shared the stage with some of Australia's biggest pop/indi bands of the day, including The Sleepy Jackson, Pollyanna, The Cruel Sea, Super Jesus, Eskimo Joe, Jebediah, Ice Cream Hands, Shihad (NZ), Gerling and Red Jezebel.
