Back in 2016, on the tail end of a long Swedish winter, colleauges Anders, Frej, Meredith, Paolo, Taavi and <a href="spotify:artist:24b7cvgWzDlYLAWg1lq2je" data-name="Yasa">Yasa</a> founded Case Deflection to play covers of their favourite songs. The band quickly became a local sensation with their high-octane live shows.
As Case Deflection matured, it underwent a shift to original material as well as changes in personnel, and ultimately settled on Anders on guitar, Tryggvi on bass and back vocals, Tony and Olivia on drums and <a href="spotify:artist:24b7cvgWzDlYLAWg1lq2je" data-name="Yasa">Yasa</a> on vocals and guitar.
2019 was the year of their first single, <a href="spotify:album:56JoCnZJJ68L26bC6rjAiv" data-name="Waiting for You">Waiting for You</a>, which instantly became a crowd favourite. The band has since been writing and recording new music, releasing their latest single <a href="spotify:track:4i6jNY3Fs6NOaLnwvpLzDr" data-name="Hateful Design">Hateful Design</a> in 2024.
