There is nothing stopping Casey Barnes! 2025 kicked off with gold for the Australian Country Music headliner, receiving the Golden Guitar for Contemporary Country Album of the Year for his chart-topping album Mayday. 2024 saw the Gold Coast local dominate the radio charts and take his live show global.
Award winning, 5th studio album Mayday hit airwaves in late May and debuted on the ARIA Charts with #1 Australian Country Album, #2 Australian Album and #2 Overall Country Album a huge accomplishment driven by the fans. Mayday has remained in the ARIA Top 20 Country Charts since release. Singles from the album such as Never Give Up On A Good Time, Boys Like Me and Summer Nights all had their moments topping the Australian Country Radio Charts. However, title track Mayday dominated the charts holding the #1 spot for four consecutive weeks.
Selling thousands of tickets headlining his own shows and a long list of festivals Casey and his band took their electric live show across the country and internationally. Appearances at widely popular festivals such as CMC Rocks, Ridin’ Hearts, Gympie Muster, Meatstock and Over Yonder made for a busy year. But, performing on the main stage of Stagecoach Festival, the largest country music festival in the United States was the icing on the cake.
