Casey Jack Kristofferson is a folk and country singer from the mountains of central Idaho, now residing in Nashville, TN. He was the originator of both The Casey Jack Kristofferson Band, and Lonesome Gold, both bands he left in pursuit of music in Nashville. Kristofferson has deep roots within the Idaho mountains and writes many songs about the influence of the scenic landscape. He is known as a prolific songwriter and guitarist, with much of his notoriety being won up north before his move down to Nashville, TN. First and foremost in accolades, Netflix licensed five of Kristofferson's original songs for a film series called "Spinning Out" which aired internationally in 2020. Kristofferson has been featured in BigLife Magazine, the Idaho Mountain Express, and the Statesman. Kristofferson has been featured on 'Outdoor Idaho', a program run by Idaho Public Television, for his song "Lost in the White Clouds." Additionally, he has been involved in many other musical events such as the Sawtooth Valley Gathering, Lost Trail Music Festival, and Grass Valley Music Festival. Kristofferson has supported such acts as The Black Lillies, Micky and the Motorcars, Jeff Crosby and The Refugees, The Lil’ Smokies, The Suspects, Remember Jones, Ira Wolf, Andy Frasco and The U.N., and Tylor and the Trainrobbers. Casey strives to remain an authentic mountain musician who derives inspiration from the natural world and brings the music from the mountains to your doorstep
