Casey Murray

Casey Murray is a Singer-Songwriter born in the Bay of Islands, Northland New Zealand. She was raised on a Dairy Farm near Kerikeri and began singing at the age of 10. She suffered a tragic burn to her left leg which meant years of skin grafts and painful surgery . Her mother encouraged her to sing at the local country music clubs to raise her self-esteem, which led to her gaining confidence and eventually she won several country music awards and was selected at an early age to tour with some of the big names in New Zealand. Casey toured extensively, then returned home to care for her sick mother. She studied at Auckland University and did live shows whenever she was able to. Her mother was her best friend, but she passed away in September 2019. Casey has written a song about her mama, which will soon be released along with a full Album entitled "Mama Will I make it tonight". Casey dreams of taking that song to the Grand Ol Opry in Nashville Tennessee and also dreams that the covid virus will soon be a thing of the past and the world can be normal again.
