Cash Fraze

Hailing from South Bay San Diego, Cash Fraze emerged from a tough upbringing to carve his own path. Raised by a single mother in a crowded Section 8 housing complex, Fraze grew up surrounded by struggle. As the youngest of five, he quickly found himself caught in the streets, following in the footsteps of his siblings toward the influence of a local gang. This dangerous path brought him face to face with drugs, crime, prison, and the harsh reality of loss.

But music became his lifeline. Escaping the grip of the streets, Fraze channeled his pain into his art. Despite spending 11 years in and out of prison, his determination never wavered. Even behind bars, he sharpened his craft, gaining a reputation as a gifted artist with a story to tell.

The trials didn’t stop there. While incarcerated, Fraze lost both his father and brother—tragically, just a day before his own birthday. Yet, instead of breaking him, these losses fueled his fire. With an unrelenting drive and a deep passion for music, Fraze forged ahead, turning his struggles into inspiration.
