IT'S A VIBRANT FUSION OF OLD SCHOOL ROCK AND ROLL AND MODERN, SEXY, FEMME-FRONTED ROCK.
Originating as a solo project by singer/songwriter @<a href="spotify:artist:2xl5wMgTwSxZ60bJyHUt93" data-name="Ashton May">Ashton May</a> (also of <a href="spotify:artist:0TvIGkLS6cOrBNBoknfrCd" data-name="The Hearsay">The Hearsay</a>), cash honey soon transformed into an electric collective driven by mutual musical connections and a shared vision.
The lineup came together when Ashton joined up with drummer Airis Broughton (formerly bandmates in Atlanta band, Suspect Raptor) and bassist Shannon McNairy, alongside powerhouse vocalist Sophie Simpson and guitarist Schuyler Heflin (formerly of The Smoke and The Static). This dynamic group of five queer women brings a unique edge to their sound, blending classic rock influences with a contemporary flair that is soulful, sensual, and seductive.
