Born and raised in the borderlands of southern Kentucky, Cash Wilson picked up a guitar at 13 and found his escape in songwriting. By the time he graduated high school, he was fronting bands, playing covers and originals across the Southeast, and writing at a relentless pace. After moving to Nashville, he recorded The Regret (2012) and Live at Maggie’s 3/16/2013 (2013) with longtime friends and collaborators, capturing the raw, early spark of his music.
Since then, Wilson has continued to carve out his own space as a songwriter—equal parts storyteller, romantic, and satirist—balancing hundreds of live shows with an ever-growing catalog. His 2023 release, the Snowflake EP, bridged folk introspection with sharp social commentary, while his newest single, Picasso (2025), turns love into art, celebrating the beauty found in quirks and imperfections.
With a reputation for vivid lyrics, memorable melodies, and a voice that carries warmth and grit in equal measure, Cash Wilson is steadily building a body of work that refuses to stand still—songs rooted in Kentucky soil but reaching far beyond.
