Derrin Townsend (born June 14), known professionally as CASHONLY was born in Queens, NY. CASHONLY is an American rapper, singer, songwriter and record producer. Aged 3, CASHONLY moved to Augusta, GA. Being originally from New York, he became naturally drawn to rap as much as his Georgia up bringing influenced him with its southern culture.
With his pop-rap appeal, R&B-styled choruses and lyrics that capture the true street slang of hardcore rap, CASHONLY became the other half of duo TK n Cash In 2007, signed to DTP (2009). In 2011, CASHONLY became the final act signed to Chris Lighty and performed on the Scream Tour. By 2014, the duo signed to Sony Music Entertainment owned label Columbia Records and released their single "Mind Right"
Moving forward, in 2015 the duo went on to release "3 Times In A Row" supported by 300 Entertainment. Both releases hit Billboard acclaim, reaching the Top 15 in the R&B & HipHop airplay charts.
Since 2016, the duo began working on developing their careers as solo artists. CASHONLY, went on to create his mixtape "Talk Dat Talk" featuring respected rap artists Dej Loaf, Lil Boosie, O.T. Genasis & others. More recently, Townsend has been working with Jacquees, Juicy J, producer OG Parker & 2 Chainz.

CASH ONLY is also heavily focused on furthering his own label ‘Banq Boi Music Group’.
