CASILIAN, composed of the two Franco-Norwegian brothers Lucas. J and Mikael B. Roussel, make music that feels like home, a party and an existential crisis all at the same time.
Their blend of folk and electronica, also called folktronica, seeks to bring together the organic and mechanical world, the past and future, the light and the dark and to create a space in which audiences can explore themselves.
After touring the UK, and playing at showcases such as Vill Vill Vest in Bergen, the Franco-Norwegian duo is now working on new material that will dive deeper into what they have coined “existential-folktronica”
