Cassandre - A name taken from mythology. Yet this Cassandre speaks from the present time, with songs about anguish, life questioning, and lost loves. Always looking for elements of nature to remind her of her quiet childhood, she actually blossoms in the city. It's a paradox we can hear in her music: A voice as strong as it is fragile, intimate but evocative lyrics, soul and jazz infused with a singer/songwriter spirit. Cassandre’s first show took place at the Festival OFF in Québec City during the summer of 2019. She has since performed in various small venues and local events.
