Cat and the Underdogs are a Swedish band and they have been playing Punk Rock in different constellations since the late 70’s. Some years ago, they met up together and decided to start The Punk Band that played that Punk Rock they grew up to, that Punk Rock that affected them, changed their life’s, meant, and still means so much to them, with a touch of the 2020’s.
A couple of years ago everything went clear when the band got a new singer and drummer. Cat and the Underdogs contacted an old friend of theirs Chips Kiesbye, guitarist of Sator and The Boys, the guy behind The Hellacopters and The Nomads. Chips took the band under his wings and produced the album, Punk Rock Overdrive. Henryk Lipp did the mixing, and Cat and the Underdogs are very proud of the result.
Now it’s 2025 and we are writing new songs for the next record and giging as much as we can!
