Catherine Leigh

Catherine Leigh is a singer-songwriter blending relaxing instrumentals with powerful lyrics. Growing up, music was a frequent and consistent aspect of her life -- narrating her days and imprinting songs to every childhood moment. Combining a deep love of music, creativity and a desire to share her passion with the world, Catherine began teaching herself how to sing and play instruments during the summer of 2011 at 11 years old. While other kids enjoyed a break from school and spent their days poolside, Catherine found her happiness in perfecting her sound and spent her time performing streetside. Based in Tampa, she creates catchy rhythms and upbeat melodies that bring people together with every strum of her ukulele.

Catherine's philosophy in chasing her dreams as a musician can be best summarized by a line from her original song, Sign: "One door closed, another door closed, I guess I'll just go through the window." She currently has two songs released, and plans to create many more in upcoming years. When she isn't writing music or performing at venues, Catherine can be found working in a different creative venture (graphic design), drinking a chai tea latte or playing with her niece.
