CC Brez

As a founding member of Republic of Loose, CC BREZ co-wrote some of the bands hit singles. The genesis of which came from his guitar (You Know It, Comeback Girl, The Steady Song, I Like Music). They toured together extensively in Europe and the U.S., even landing a historical supporting slot with U2 on their 360 tour in Croke Park, Ireland. His love of Retro R’n’B and Pop influenced the band’s sound developed from a vast array of inspiration such including Prince, Hall & Oates, The Time and Steely Dan.

Still based in Dublin, Ireland the new CC BREZ project is a solo venture. Influenced by the classic blues, soul and funk form and he endeavours to channel these influences into his new sound. Whilst his style is traditionally a soul sound, it is always wrapped up in a classic pop structure.

The first solo EP release that came from CC BREZ was entitled 'HER ALIBI' and contained 3 other tracks from his debut album.

His debut album ‘The Nightfall’ landed. THE NIGHTFALL was recorded in Beech Park Studios in Rathcoole with Ger McDonnell. The Nightfall is a diverse album spanning genres such as funk,blues, soul and pop. Released on CC Brez’s own label, FAT BURRITO on the 27th of feb 2016.

Touring Ireland heavily off the back of the nightfall. In 2017 CC released the stand alone single ‘When it falls’ marking a slightly darker tone. His latest release ‘Rialto M.F.’ See’s CC keeping the darker themes with his latest EP arriving on Nov 28th 2019. THIS FUNK IS 4 U
