CDX is an alias of Tim Thornton, an artist from Cleveland, Ohio who also records and performs as Tiger Village and runs the Suite 309 label. Since 2015, CDX has been Tim's more fun and accessible project. Several lo-fi tapes first appeared on Suite 309. Lion Cuts, the first studio recorded CDX album, landed on Doom Trip records in 2019. Mane Room Trax, a collection of alternate versions, soon followed.
