Cecil Thornton is an American singer/songwriter from Houston, Texas. Cecil elevated his craft while attending college in Atlanta, Ga and currently resides in the DMV area. Cecil is a trendsetter whose musical creativity, lyrical connectivity and vocal uniqueness catapults his music in a genre unparalleled to others. A gospel sound infused with neo-soul and jazz influence to create musical experiences that far exceed the ordinary. In 2006 Cecil released his debut project “LIVE Simplicity” and in 2015 he released his sophomore project “Variation”. Cecil is currently working on his 3rd project slated for a 2020 release.
