Cemment started in Tokyo in 1994 as guitarist Taichi's solo project as a thrash death metal with an industrial taste, and developed into a band in the same year.
Before the band disbanded in 2001, they released 1st, 2nd and Ep from Eclipse Records, and 3rd original album from Born Records. Participated in many other V.A. omnibuses. Along with the release of the sound source, we have been on a live tour mainly in Tokyo, Nagoya and Osaka, as far as Hokkaido in the north and Okinawa in the south. After the band's revival in 2015, they released an Ep digitally from Agoge Records in Rome, Italy in 2019, and a Single in 2021. Agoge Records is now based in Berlin, Germany.
Cemmentは1994年に東京でギタリスト太一のソロプロジェクトとしてインダストリアルテイストを併せ持ったスラッシュ・デスメタルとして始まり、同年にバンド編成へと発展しました。
2001年のバンド解散までにEclipse Recordsから1st, 2ndとEp、Born Rcordsより3rdのオリジナルアルバムをリリース。その他多数のV.A.オムニバスへの参加をしています。音源の発売とともに東名阪を中心に北は北海道、南は沖縄までのライブツアーを行ってきました。2015年にバンド復活を遂げた後、2019年にイタリア・ローマのAgoge Recordsよりデジタル配信でのEp, 2021年にSingleのリリースを行い現在に至ります。現在Agoge Recordsはドイツ・ベルリンに拠点を移しています。
