Erik Paul van Yperen also known as “Censi Rock” was born on the 21st of October 1991. From a young age he has been gifted with a musical talent.
As a kid he sang in a church choir and was introduced with reggae through his neighbor who was a Rastaman from Africa. Listening to Bob Marley, Joseph Hill, Gregory Isaacs and many more reggae singers Censi developed his own style and started to find his own way in making music.
On the age of 18 Censi released his first song called “Love Love” on the dreamworld riddim which was the start of his career.
In 2014 Censi in collaboration with Area 026 music released his first Album “First Delivery” which was welcomed into the reggae scene by lots and lots of love.
After a couple of years of silence its time to make a comeback, Censi is currently working on several songs that will drop in 2024.
