Hailing from the legendary underground nightclub Fu Bar in Auckland NZ, Cern (aka Ollie) has been putting out records for nearly 15 years, a body of work which has grown into a diverse and varied collection of solo and collaborative releases.
Cern is known for his brooding productions which evoke a visceral response in the listener through their texture and tension.
With two LPs to his name, ‘Terminus’ (2011, Project 51/Uprising) and ‘Under Another Sky’ (2014, Dispatch Recordings), Cern has also released music on labels including Renegade Hardware, Commercial Suicide, Samurai Music, 31 Records and many more. He has also collaborated with artists such as DLR, Jubei, Loxy, Sabre, One Mind, Concord Dawn & Nymfo.
