Born and raised in Kingston, Jamaica 1992, Chad Bailey moved to Queens, New York in 2010 with his family to establish a better life. Singing at church and performing at school talent shows and showcases, Chad never thought music would be his career choice until college when he met Nigel Angus a producer and CEO of palm tree flow records. He recorded his first song “Still Here” dedicated to his friend from back home who died after she was diagnosed with leukemia. The song ended up on Nigel’s Reggae compilation album “Legin” released in 2016. Chad continued recording and since then released singles like “Better Now”, “Stay”, “without you”, “lovesick” featuring Rapper/Singer Krys Evans and “Never felt before”. All produced by Producer/Singer Mark Evich. In 2022 Chad released “Fake Friends”, steering away from the R&B infused sound you heard on his previous records. “Fake Friends” is a traditional roots reggae track with a conscious message behind the lyrics.
