This allows him to bring a unique and diverse perspective to the Hip Hop genre. As a former poet and spoken word artist Chaddy Royal displays eloquent lyricism in his music. Growing up in Brooklyn his influences were Notorious BIG, Jay Z, Nas, Mobb Deep, The Fugees, and Wu Tang. In 2010 Chaddy Royal traveled to South Africa to record his first album called "The Awakening". 8 years later after going through a major life changes romantically, musically, and spiritually he finds himself back at it with another album called "Rumination". This album is worth listening to because it comes from a vulnerable place that many people can relate to.
